Allyson Felix

Allyson Michelle Felix was born Los Angeles on November 18 1985. Paul Felix served as an ordinand at Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix discovered early that she had an aptitude in running while attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. After a few weeks of the first attempt she made the sport, she finished 2nd in the 200m race at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix finished high school in 2003 and signed with Adidas an agreement as a professional athlete. In the following year, she enrolled at the University of Southern California studying elementary education. Felix took home her first Olympic Medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics that took place in Athens Greece. She set a Junior World Record by taking 200m in 22.18 seconds. She became the youngest world athlete to win the 200 meters at the 2005 Helsinki World Championships and defended her title in 2007 by beating her time-tested Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix participated in her first Olympics during Beijing London Rio de Janeiro as well as Tokyo always finishing in the top three of her competitions.
