Alexandra Shipp
Alexandra Shipp has been a well-known actress over the years. Her birthplace was in Phoenix Arizona in the United States on July 16, 1991. In 2012, she played one small role as a guest with Victoria Justice on Victorious. The year 2009 was the time that Shipp was first introduced to acting with a minor role as a minor character in Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel. The third season of Nickelodeon's mysterious teen drama series House of Anubis saw her playing KT in the title role. Shipp's roles in 2014 as Dani Raymond, the lead role of the VH1 television sequel Drumline: A New Beat and Aaliyah Hauchton in Lifetime Television's film Aaliyah: the Princess of R&B attracted her attention. Shipp was a singer during the second part of the performance. After portraying the Ice Cube character Kimberly Woodruff she starred in Straight Outta Compton a biographical-drama film which followed the lives of members of N.W.A. In 2016, she was a part-time actress in Bryan Singer's super-hero film X-Men: Apocalypse with Halle Berry playing Ororo munroe/Storm a climate-controlling mutant. The film featured Nick Robinson, Jorge Lendeborg Jr. as well as Lucy Hale as Dude in 2018, and also with Nick Robinson in Love Simon. Her brother is named James. She portrayed the role of Danielle Dani Raymond in the 2014 TV film Drumline: A New Beat. Alexandra Ruth Shipp (born July 16th, 1991) is an American actress, singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist who rose to notoriety for playing the role of a real-life singer Aaliyah as a character in the Lifetime television series Aaliyah: The Queen of R&B (2014) and Kimberly Woodruff in the Oscar-nominated film Straight Outta Compton (2015).
